How should local AI at home actually feel?

If you're running Ollama, you know how powerful it is—but you also know it’s no fun typing into a black terminal window all day. I built this app because I wanted a central hub that’s actually enjoyable to use. A place where you can manage your models, connect your local tools, and hang out with small pixel-art companions.

What you can do with it:

• A better way to interact: A clean, easy-to-use interface for Ollama. No more terminal windows—just a smooth experience for your daily tasks.
• Bring your models to life: You can choose animated companions. It makes the interaction feel more natural and less like you're just typing into a void.
• Connect your tools: With MCP (Model Context Protocol) support, you can link the AI to your own local files and tools, making it actually useful for your specific workflows.
• Integrated Media (Hybrid): I’ve built in support for Runware, so you can generate images and videos directly within the app. I chose this hybrid route because local image generation often eats up too much VRAM. This way, you get access to hundreds of models (like on Civitai) without the $20/month subscription—you just use your own key and pay only for what you actually use.

Why I’m building this?

I believe that the future of AI belongs in our own homes, where we have full control over our privacy and our hardware. Quanty AI is for people who want to explore what local AI can do—simply, privately, and without a steep learning curve.

Technical Note:
To use this app, you’ll need to have Ollama installed on your machine. For image and video generation, a Runware API key is required. This means that Ollama runs locally and the image and video generation runs remotely on Runwares hardware!

📥 Installation Instructions

IMPORTANT: Windows SmartScreen Warning

When you first run the installer, Windows SmartScreen will show a warning:

"Windows protected your PC"

"Unknown publisher"

This is completely normal and safe! Here's why:

The installer is awaiting Microsoft's code signing validation, which can take several weeks for new publishers. The software is safe and contains no malware.

How to install:

1. Download QuantyAI-Setup.exe

2. Double-click the installer

3. Windows shows SmartScreen warning

4. Click "More info"

5. Click "Run anyway"

6. Follow the installation wizard

7. Accept the license agreement

8. Review the privacy policy

After installation: Windows will remember your choice and the app will work perfectly.

Future updates: Code signing will be added in upcoming releases to remove this warning completely.
